To support Jewish life at The George Washington University, the Hillel at GW built a modern, five-story, 19,598 sq. ft. facility serving students, alumni, families and the wider DC Jewish community. The new facility provides a physical and spiritual home for all students to gather as a community, encouraging conversations on issues facing the Jewish community at GW and beyond while offering modern dining, gathering and collaboration space.

The existing three-story building was demolished to make space for the new Gewirz Center. The new facility includes one floor of below-grade leovegas online casino gamesspace, four levels of above-grade structure and boasts a penthouse conference center with a 1,151 sq. ft. roof deck. The finished space features two kosher kitchens, a large multi-purpose dining area, Hillel offices, student life space, conference rooms and a chapel with expandable capacities into the lobby area and an outdoor patio. The third and fourth floors were built to warm shell requirements and are leased to George Washington University.
