Leone, Jr. will join Consigli Construction Co., Inc. as Vice President of People Development effective May 4. Currently a partner with Boston-based law firm Nixon Peabody LLP, Leone will oversee strategic planning, personnel and corporate governance for Consigli.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we continue our evolution from a family owned business to one of the more prominent \u00a0contractors in the Northeast, it\u2019s important that we maintain the culture, service mentality and builder approach that has led to our success,\u201d said Anthony Consigli.\u00a0 \u201cWe believe with the addition of Gerry, his experience will help us preserve our culture as we build the world-class people organization necessary to support our clients.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoining Anthony and Matthew Consigli as part of their Senior Executive Leadership team provides me with an outstanding opportunity to play a significant role in a strategic, purpose-driven, family-focused culture at Consigli, employing shared values around hard work, and commitment to client service ,\u201d said Leone.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2013, Leone has been a partner in Nixon Peabody\u2019s Government Investigations and White Collar Defense group. Prior to joining the firm, he was the District Attorney for the state\u2019s largest county, the First Assistant US Attorney and Anti-Terrorism Coordinator for Massachusetts, and the Criminal Bureau Chief in the Massachusetts Attorney General\u2019s office, handling some of the biggest state and federal cases in recent Massachusetts history and managing three of the largest public sector law offices in the northeast.<\/p>\n<p>Leone has also built public\/private partnerships with schools and universities, health care organizations, and non-profits in such areas as workplace safety, relationship violence, and youth development.<\/p>\n<p>Leone graduated from Suffolk University Law School and earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MILFORD, MA \u2013 Former Middlesex County District Attorney Gerard T.
